Studies in Phenomenology

Call for Papers

As the Organizers of the International Conference “Horizons Beyond Borders. Traditions and Perspectives of the Phenomenological Movement in Central and Eastern Europe” that held on June 17–19, 2015, in Budapest, we are pleased and honoured to announce a Call for Papers for conference proceedings.

The conference proceedings will be published as special volumes by two journals:

“Horizon. Studies in Phenomenology” (more about the journal here)
(the journal accepts studies in English, German, and French; the publication is to be expected no sooner than in Summer 2016)

“Studies in East European Thought” (more about the journal here)
(the journal accepts only studies written in English; the publication is to be expected no sooner than in 2017)

The articles should not exceed 40.000 characters (including space and references). Detailed editorial rules are available here (“Horizon. Studies in Phenomenology”) and here (“Studies in East European Thought”). Please, indicate which journal do you prefer to publish your article. As it is usual nowadays, both journals made it a condition to implement an additional (blind) review process on their own (i.e., the organizers of the conference have no influence over the journals’ review processes). Please, remember, that if you are not a native speaker, the article should be proofed by a native speaker before submission.

The deadline for submissions is March 1, 2016.

Please, send the .doc or .docx file to both:

Yours sincerely,
